The Chesapeake College Skipjacks Men's Basketball team defeated the Montgomery College Raptors 79-59 to capture the 2023 NJCAA DII Region 20 and the NJCAA Mid-Atlantic District titles.

Chesapeake College advanced to the Division II National Tournament at Mary Miller Center in Danville, IL. The Skipjacks lost their first game, 72-59 to eventual tournament runner-up, Macomb. In their second game of the tournament, Chesapeake would rebound to defeat Florida Gateway 85-79 to advance to a second consolation game. They would play Johnson County to overtime in a hard-fought 75-68 loss.
