CSM Spoils Chandler's Big Day

NORTH EAST - Freshman guard Shaun Chandler had a career day, but Cecil fell 98-91 the College of Southern Maryland Hawks on Saturday afternoon.

Chandler finished the game with 25 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in just 21 minutes. The frosh was highly effecient, shooting 8-for-12 from the floor and sinking 9-of-11 free throws.

The Seahawks fall to 3-6 (0-2 Region 20) on the year.

Turning Point

The Hawks outscored Cecil 21-9 to start the contest, but Cecil clawed its way back into the game and eventually took the lead. However, a 10-2 run by CSM midway through second half proved too much to overcome for the Seahawks.
