ROCHESTER - A rough night from the floor resulted in Cecil's second consecutive loss, as the Seahawks fell 69-56 to the Monroe CC Tribunes Saturday evening.
Cecil made 29% of their shots for the game and missed 10 free throws. Three players accounted for 12 of the Seahawks 19 made attempts, including a 6-for-13 performance from sophomore forward Luke Moore. The remainder of the team finished 7-of-35.
Turning Point
A jumper from Joshau Akakpo pulled Cecil within three points (59-56) at 5:15 left in the second. The Seahawks went ice cold from there, missing their final 10 shots to end the game.
