CCBC Essex Wins Region Men's Lacrosse Title

ARNOLD, Md. – The No. 2 seed CCBC Essex Knights upset top seed Harford Community College, 14-9, to win the 2024 Region 20 Men's Lacrosse Championship. Bradley Davis scored six goals and assisted another for the Knights en route to being named tournament most outstanding offensive player.

The Knights (10-3) used a five-goal run in the second quarter to break open what had been a close game up to that point.

Harford (10-1) mounted a second-half comeback and got within two early in the fourth quarter before CCBC Essex rattled off four goals in a row to keep the game in check.

The Knights were effective on the clear at 23-26 on the day. Chris Evans won 16 of 27 faceoffs for CCBC Essex.

Both CCBC Essex and Harford advance to the NJCAA Championships, hosted by Harford May 11-12, 2024.
