Three Region 20 Women's Soccer Student-Athletes Named All-America

Congratulations to the 2022-2023 NJCAA Women's Soccer All-Americans. NJCAA Region 20 celebrates 3 women's soccer student-athletes from two member institutions who were honored as First or Second Team All-America in their respective division.

Division II:

Abby Meadows, Sophomore, Defense, CCBC – Essex, First-Team

Meadows led the Knights defense to 10 shutouts and a 1.10 goals against average, securing a 6-1 conference record and capturing the Division II Region 20 Title. In the district final, Meadows and the defense held Sussex County Community College scoreless to win the East and advance to the Division II National Tournament. Meadows started 18 games for the Knights this season and 30 in her career, accumulating six points on two goals and two assists while earning First-Team honors for her stellar defense.

Division III:

Ally Hall, Sophomore, Midfield, Anne Arundel, Second-Team

Asylin Wesemen, Sophomore, Defense, Anne Arundel, Second-Team

The sophomore duo of Hall and Wesemen anchored the Riverhawks' defense, which ranked 13th in the nation in goals allowed with 35 in 14 games played. Against Division III opponents, AACC went 5-1 on the year, allowing just eight goals. The Riverhawks' lone loss in Division III games was to national champion Dallas-Brookhaven in the NJCAA tournament.

Hall scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-3 victory over Division III Union College on August 27. As a defender, Wesemen assisted a goal in an overtime contest against WVU Potomac State. Each played in every minute of every game for the Riverhawks this season.

Both were critical in Anne Arundel's 1-0 victory over #5 Ocean County at the national tournament. Wesemen earned NJCAA All-Tournament honors for her play.
