CCBC Essex Take 4th Straight Region XX Men's Soccer DI Title
The Knights defeated Harford Community College 1-0 on Saturday to win its fourth consecutive NJCAA Region XX Division I Men's Soccer Championship.
The lone goal came in the 84th minute when Harford's goal keeper attempted to clear a ball in the box and it deflected off another defender and into the net.
With the victory, the Knights (15-5) move on to play the NJCAA Region XII champion, Schoolcraft College, this Saturday at CCBC Dundalk in the North-Central District final. The winner will earn a spot in the NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship national tournament, held Nov. 16-21 in Martinsville, Va.
