CCBC Catonsvile Claims DII Men's Cross Country Title
YOUNGWOOD, Pa. – Cross country runners from Hagerstown captured the individual Region 20 Divison I Cross Country titles Saturday at the Region 20 championship hosted by Westmoreland County Community College. Morgan Jarrell (22:25.50) won the women's side, and Thomas Bildheiser (28:15.30) won the men's side.
In team competition, CCBC Catonsville won the Division II team title, and Potomac State captured the Division II women's title behind a first-place finish from Alexandrea Kile (22:00.80). Will Hanna-Leverett (27:29.50) of CCBC Essex took top individual honors in Division II.
In individual competition in Division III, Ashley Pfeffercorn (40:29.70) of CCAC took top individual honors while Chase Brenneman (30:08.70) claimed the Division III men's title.
Qualifiers for NJCAA national championships will all venture to Huntsville, Ala., in search of the NJCAA title on Saturday, November 11.
