Your CCBC Dundalk Lions are now 12-4 (4-1) after defeating College of Southern Maryland Hawks 85-75 over the weekend.

Christian Wright lead the Lions in scoring with 27. Mohamed Bundu was right behind him with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 3 Blocks. Allayassa Bray had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Dana Strothers had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

It was not until 8 minutes into the first half that the Lions could break away. The score was 17-16, Lions up one, right before they went on an 11-2 run to make the score 28-18. The Lions then extended the lead to 11 at 35-24, the largest lead of the game at this point. But the Hawks weren't done yet rattling off a massive 16-2 run to take the lead and be up 40-37. Christian Wright heaved up a half court shot has time expired and it was cash. The game was tied at 40 at the end of the first half.

The Hawks hit their biggest lead of the game of 4 with a score of 52-48 about 3 minutes into the second half. The game was tied at 59 by a Hawks free throw at 12:28 left in the second half. At 8:13 the drought was broken by a Christian Wright layup. The Hawks Warrick Godwin answered with a 3. At this point the Lions are down 1 with the score at 62-61. The Lions then go on an 11-0 run to make the score 72-62. After this point the Lions lowest lead was 8 and the final score of the game was 85-75.
