Cardinals Second Highest Season Scoring Game Gets Them a Major Win

The Cardinals returned to the Wolfpack's playing field for game two the doubleheader match. To no surprise, the Cardinals would work off last game's momentum and play a strong all-around game. What we may have not known was the Cardinals would score in four of five of their innings and end the afternoon with 17 total runs.

Similar to the first inning, both teams played a close competitive game into the first two innings. After the second inning, Catonsville would progressively add runs to the board and end this game early by mercy rule.

Big contributors to this game would include sophomore outfielder, Miles Bowen (Tucker) who snagged his third homerun of the season and three RBI's. Sophomore outfielder, Caleb Bailey (Old Mill) helped maintain batting momentum with two RBI's and a double. Another sophomore who really showed out, second baseman Orlando Perez Jr, (Winter Park) led the team with four RBI's and two triples; his first triples of the season.

Another dominant 10+ run game by the Cardinals, which now has been made into an established norm for the team. They will continue their journey on the road and look to upkeep their high level of playing performance.
