WOLFPACK EDGED BY PENN HIGHLANDS IN 107-104 SHOOTOUT

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - In a wild shootout, a three-pointer at the buzzer was off the mark and the Westmoreland County Community College men's basketball team came up on the short end of a 107-104 decision to visiting Penn Highlands in a WPCC contest Monday night.

Lonigro's career-high in scoring, which came on 10-of-14 shooting from the floor, led five scorers in double digits. Next on the scoring list was Dan McQuaide with 20 points and he added eight boards and four assists. Christian Montgomery added 15 points and made four steals, Dylan Bubarth fired in 12 and passed out a team-best five assists and Cam'ron McKinney rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 markers.

The game was the final one of the first semester for the Wolfpack. Westmoreland is off for the holidays and will return to action on Jan. 4th with a home game against Penn State-DuBois at 3 pm.
