SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College men's soccer team moves to 8-1-3 overall, 6-1-2 in conference play after traveling to Harford Community College Sunday afternoon, for a non-conference contest.
The Fighting Owls were the first to get on the board scoring in the 21st minute of the game. Harford held the 1-0 lead through the remainder of the first half. In the 73rd minute, Edgar Jose Reboredo Martins put the Statesmen on the board. The score would remain 1-1 through regulation.
Thomas Seymour earned the start between the pipes and was credited with five saves in 90 minutes of play. Richard Bland had nine shots on the day, five on goal.
The Richard Bland men's soccer team next travels to USC Lancaster for their second meeting, on Friday, October 6th. The conference contest is set to kick off at 2pm.
