EARLY SCORES DROP WOLFPACK AGAINST PENN STATE NEW KENSINGTON

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - Penn State-New Kensington struck for four goals in the opening six minutes on their way to eight first-half tallies and claimed a 10-0 victory over the Westmoreland County Community College men's soccer team Wednesday afternoon.

The first two goals of the match were off penalty kicks to get the Lions to an early lead and they continued to pull away. The Wolfpack had some early chances but couldn't quite finish. In the second half, Westmoreland possessed well, but weren't able to score in the match.

The Wolfpack go out on the road on Friday for their first away match of the season. Westmoreland will travel to Region XX opponent Northern Virginia for a 3 pm kickoff.
