Lions Lose Series Against Cecil 0-2

The Lions finished the series against Cecil 0-2 after losing 12-9 on Tuesday and losing 14-8 on Thursday.

On Tuesday in Dundalk the Lions lost 12-9. The Lions were up 5-0 after 3 innings. After 5 the Lions were up 9-3. In the 6th inning Cecil made a pitching change to Colin Balthaser and he was lights out in relief retiring 12 straight batters to end the game. The relief for the Lions was another story since the Lions lost 12-9 in the end.

On Thursday at Cecil the Lions lost 14-8. The Lions were up 3-2 going into the 6th. They even scored 2 more in the 6th but gave up 5 in the bottom to go down 7-5. But the Lions weren't done yet, they took the lead back 8-7 in the 7th. But the game was ended as Cecil doubled their score in one inning finishing the game 14-8 Lions lose.

Against Cecil lead off hitter Kaleb Whitlock was 3 of 7 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, 3 runs and a walk. Qynton Davis was 4 of 8 with a homerun and a double, 3 RBI, 4 runs and a walk. Adam Harrison was 3 of 8 with a double, 3 RBI, 2 runs and a walk. Drew Gorsuch was 2 of 6 with 3 RBI and 2 runs.
