Game Notes

Third game of the season and the Riverhawks displayed action fans have been waiting to see – dominating the NJCAA DI Skipjacks of Chesapeake College out of Region XX, 8-0.

Opening the season with two other NJCAA DI opponents (Harford CC, and Harcum College) the Riverhawks were playing extremely well but just couldn't put all the pieces together to secure themselves a win – until now.

Sophomore Ryan Gruss (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) would open the game with a hat trick for AACC with assists coming from Keityn Pruett (Savannah, GA/Meade), Deion Hunter (Laurel, MD/Meade), and Austin Noland (Glen Burnie, MD/Glen Burnie).

Gruss would attach his name to goal 4 for the Riverhawks assisting Konstantinos Nakas (Gambrills, MD/Arundel) on his first goal of the season.

With the Skipjacks still scoreless, Zachary Roberts (Pasadena, MD/Archbishop Spalding) would extend the Riverhawk lead to 6-0 with his two goals with assists coming from Antonio Eaton (Hanover, MD/Meade) and Logan Mayette (Millersville, MD/Old Mill).

Recording his fourth goal of the game, Gruss was assisted by Isaiah Goodman (Severn, MD/Chesapeake Science Point) with Pruett (unassisted) finishing off the Riverhawk scoring – securing an impressive 8-0 victory.
