BEL AIR - Couper Stala and Matt Jackson recorded three hits each, but Cecil College baseball fell 15-5 to the Harford Fighting Owls on Tuesday afternoon.
The Seahawks kept pace with their opposition early, scoring two runs in the first and third innings to match Harford's four. The Fighting Owls began to separate themselves with a seven-run fourth and four more in the sixth. On the flipside, Cecil scored just once over the last four frames.
Colin Shea (0-1) took the loss from the hill. Chad Francis tossed the first three innings and struck out four.
Cecil is now 8-4 on the season.
