The Catamounts and Seahawks battled to a scoreless opening frame. Potomac State's offense began to open things up in the after a grand slam in the second. Things would not improve much over the next innings, as the Seahawks surrendured 15 runs on 11 hits between the third and fourth.

Game Two - Potomac State 5, Cecil 2 - Box Score

Cecil kept things much closer in game two but came up just short. Sael Flete's home run in the first put the Seahawks ahead for the first time all day, as the left-hander drove home Nate Ewing for a 2-0 lead.

Kyle Stively kept the Seahawks in it defensively, surrenduring just two runs in the third while punching out seven Catamounts over 5 1/3 innings. After walking a Catamount with one out in the fifth, Stively would be pulled for a reliever. The Seahawks eventually walked in a run, then hit the next batter for another. A wild pitch gave way to another pitching change before Cecil finally retired the side.

Cecil threatened with two on and two out in the seventh, but a flyout ended the contest.

A half-dozen Seahawks recorded one hit each. Flete recorded Cecil's only RBI, extra-base hit, and also chipped in two walks.
