Catonsville, MD- With a strong effort by Ariana Smith-Rodriguez, the Lady Cardinals were able to stun Hagerstown 89-67.
Smith-Rodriguez put up a 21-point game- a season high for her. She would also record six rebounds and drain three three-pointers. Behind her was Kamryn Carter and Heilah Ortiz with 14 and 11 points, respectively. Akirra Pullen would prove to be a strong asset in the paint with 10 rebounds and nine total points of her own.
Catonsville would keep the lead the entire contest. Hagerstown came knocking a few times, with the lowest score deficit being ne. (28-27 in Q2).
The next set of games for the Lady Cardinals will begin the weekend after Christmas, as they travel to D.C. to compete in the Title IX classic at the Washington D.C. Armory.
