Sofia Michael Scores 5, Assists 5 in 20-6 Win Over Erie CC

ARNOLD, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College women's lacrosse team recorded another win this past Friday, defeating the NJCAA DI Region 3 Kats from Erie Community College, 20-6. The Riverhawks improve to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in the conference.

The Riverhawks came out firing against the Kats as Renee Ruppert quickly found the net first, scoring off a pass from Sofia Michael. The pair wasted no time before re-connecting again as Ruppert scored off of Michael's assist again, less than a minute later. Michael would go on to assist three other Riverhawks that day all while scoring herself – ending the day with an impressive 5 goals and 5 assists. Caitlyn Shriver, Alyssa Yates, Alyssa Baronella-O'Toole all recorded hat-tricks, with Ruppert, Madeline Szanyi, and Emily Rowe all scoring 2 goals on the day.

The Riverhawks have two, tough conference/division match-ups scheduled this week, hosting the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College on Tuesday at 5 p.m. and then traveling to face the Dragons of Howard Community College on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
