A slow start for the Riverhawks proved detrimental in their, 96-76, loss against the NJCAA DI Region XX Fighting Owls of Harford Community College this past Wednesday evening (12/5). The Riverhawks had a second half battle outscoring the Fighting Owls 43-41, but as their slow open had them down 55-33 at halftime – AACC would ultimately find themselves with the loss on the night.
Deondre McNeill (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) would finish with 13 points and 5 rebounds on the night, Dayvon Cuffey (Glen Burnie, MD/Glen Burnie) with 12 points and 8 rebounds, and Jacoby Rojas (San Angelo, TX/Northeast) with 10 points.
