Lions split DH with Genesee CC

Dundalk, Md. - After a cold windy day the Lions came away splitting the double header with Genesee 1-1.

The first game was a 12-0 victory for Genesee. The second was a 1-0 walkoff for the Lions.

Game one started 1:00 pm and everything just went the Cougars way. Tyler Prospero threw all six innings only giving up three hits and a walk.

The second was not much better for the offense of the Lions but they still won. Jonathan Toro pitch all eight innings for Cougars only giving two hits and two hits. Zach Reed pitched five innings only giving up six hits, HBP and two strikeouts. Joe Rubalcaba pitched one inning holding the lead and getting. Jacob Sheesley pitched an inning recording two strikeouts as well. Bryant Gutierrez came in, in the eighth inning getting keeping the game tied. With two outs Mateo Gil reached on an error and three wild pitches later walked off the game.

The Lions will play against the first game of the double header Delaware Technical Community College Sunday, March 17th with first pitch at 12:00 pm
