Volleyball Open the 2022 Fall Sports Season

The Westmoreland County Community College opened its 2022 volleyball season hosting the number 5 team in the country Butler County Community College.  Westmoreland was swept in three games, 25-5, 25-7, and 25-19, but gained more and more confidence as the night went on.  The Wolfpack are returning five players from last season, while adding in two transfer students, and eight freshman for the 2022 season. 

The Wolfpack were led in kills by sophomore Paige Klinger with 3.  Emma Mullett was tops on the team with 8 digs and 5 aces.  While Haley Maines's 20 assist was tops on the team. The team gained momentum in the third game with Mullett scoring 5 of her aces in that game alone.

The Wolfpack will next travel to Waynesburg for a scrimmage match on saturday night, before returning home next Tuesday to face WPCC rival CCAC.
