Riverhawk women host College of Southern Maryland

Riverhawk women host College of Southern Maryland

After topping CCBC Catonsville on the road for their first win the Riverhawks returned home for a challenging contest against Harford CC. After dropping the contest to the Fighting Owls the women's hoops team from AACC looks to get back in the win column when they host College of Southern Maryland this Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

The Riverhawks are led by a pair of sophomore players, Bri'ana Oliver and Dania Taylor. Oliver, a transfer from Hagerstown, is leading AACC with 13 points per game. She is shooting over 40% from the field and nearly 35% from the three-point arc while also grabbing seven rebounds per game. Taylor tallies nearly 11 points per game and earns four assists per game.

Another sophomore, Ajoh Kuch, is leading the team pulling down nearly 12 rebounds per game. She continues to improve her offensive game as she closes in on 10 points per game. Allison Stahl and Jasmine Wallace have been great additions to sophomore's Heather Young, Cypress Dauz and April Smith who consistently contribute for the Riverhawks. If AACC can get back Megan Young who has been sidelined with an ankle injury they will be in the hunt for a strong Region 20, D3 finish.
