Butler County Defeats Commodore Ladies, 93-39

February 4, 2023 - - Lorain County Community College women's basketball lost to Butler County Community College over the weekend in Butler, Pa., 93-39.

Danah Ewing (Elyria, Ohio/Elyria HS) led the Commodores in scoring with 22 points and had a team-high six rebounds despite getting injured in the second half.  Sidney Iler (LaGrange, Ohio/First Baptist Christian) scored eight while dropping two 3-pointers on six attempts. 

Jelene Williams (Sheffield Village, Ohio/Brookside HS) has continued to be a welcome sight for LCCC as she scored seven points going 3-for-6 from field.

The Commodores return home to face the Cuyahoga Community College Triceratops in a return to Ohio Community College Athletic Conference play this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
