NCCC shoots past Butler

Niagara County Community College canned 18 3-pointers on its way to a 99-53 non-conference win at Butler Community College on Monday night. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 11 in this week's NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 25-1 overall. It is the fourth time in the last five years that the NCCC women's basketball program has won 25 or more games. 

Sophomore wing Cierra Harrison had a game-high 24 points, including six 3-pointers, in the win. Sophomore point guard Nickelle O'Neil finished with 15 points, six assists and six steals, while freshman guard Alaina Forbes had 14 points off the bench and sophomore guard Paige Emborsky scored 13 points.

Next up for the T-Wolves is a road contest at Jamestown Community College. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
