Cecil Settles for Fifth Draw

FREDERICK, Md. - A missed penalty kick in the 79th minute forced the Seahawks to finish in a scoreless draw with the Frederick Cougars on Monday evening.

Cecil midfielder Jose Santillan-Cruz was denied a goal scoring opportunity by a Frederick defender, leading to a straight red card and a PK. The freshman stepped up and looked to put the Seahawks ahead, but the Cougars goalie saved the shot to keep the game tied.

With the tie, the Seahawks move to 3-6-5 on the year.
