DUNDALK, MD - The Lions came out fighting in their last game of the season against Potomac State College of WVU. The Lions finish off the year at 10-16 while the Catamounts remain undefeated after an 84-71 victory over CCBC. The Lions gave the #1 ranked team a run for their money by leading for a majority of the game. The Lions were up 6-4 in the early part of the first half held that lead until there was 13:27 left on the clock in the second half when the Catamounts took the lead with a three from Leondre Rodgers making the score 54-52.

CCBC started out strong on defense making stop after stop creating a 14-0 run and going up 16-4. Potomac cut the lead down to three at one point but finished the half down five with the score at 40-35.

The second half started out with trading baskets but then the shots stopped falling for CCBC. The still game remained close and witha little over two minutes left the score was 76-70. Potomac had the ball, the shot went up and in with a foul called. At line the free throw is missed but Potomac grab rebound put up another shot it goes in and another foul is called and this free throw makes it. Just like that the score is 81-70 with less than two minutes left and the game and season was over. There was a chance at an insane update but the madness is saved for March.
