Lady Cardinals Sneak Past AACC 85-81 in Home Win

Catonsville, MD- Following a tough loss versus CCBC Essex, the Lady Cardinals were looking to dive back into the win column against the Riverhawks.

Tylea Galloway would prove to be the star of the evening, recording a triple-double in her effort. Galloway would post 15 points, 10 assists, and 13 rebounds to cap off her evening. She narrowly missed double-digits in a fourth category- with eight steals.

Catonsville would end the game with four Cardinals in the double-digit column for points. Including Galloway, the other Cardinals would be Cache Waters (18), Heilah Ortiz (19), and Ariana Smith-Rodriguez. Sophomore Akirra Pullen would go 4-8 on field goals with eight rebounds and eight points.

Despite a mere 33.7 shooting percentage, women's basketball would manage to edge out Anne Arundel in the final moments of the contest. From the free throw line, however, they managed to be good for 76% of their attempts. The Riverhawks would only make around 53% of theirs.

Catonsville looks to extend their win streak to two with their next contest being against Chesapeake College on Tuesday, January 28th at approximately 5P.M.
