T-Wolves drops two games at Garrett College

Niagara County Community College dropped a pair of tight games at this past weekend's David K. Martin Legacy Showcase hosted by Garrett College. The Thunderwolves are now 2-2 on the young season with a road game at Finger Lakes CC set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Potomac State 63, Niagara CCC 60

Sophomore point guard Corey Mendez had 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists in the narrow loss. Freshman guard Justin Alleyne-Washington had 11 points, while first-year forward Jamie Killings added 10 points and six rebounds.

Garrett College 84, Niagara CCC 81

Sophomore wing Kyle Williams had a game-high 29 points in the hard-luck loss. Mendez added 16 points and 10 boards.
