Seahawks Toss Aside Titans in Straight Sets

NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil volleyball aced its first home assignment of the season, besting Beaver County in three sets on Saturday afternoon.

The Seahawks did not receive much pushback from the Titans, holding the visitors to seven points or less in each frame. 33 of Cecil's points came via service ace, led by Lily Landis' 18. Landis shined for Cecil on defense as well, collecting 12 of the team's 19 digs. 

Elsewhere on offense, eight Seahawks finished with at least one kill. Freshman Madison Weil topped the team with four. Sophomore Skylar Klingler ignited the attack with 14 assists.

With the win, the Seahawks move to 2-0 on the season (2-0 Region 20 D2).
