Owls Host Camden County for a NJCAA Division III Top Ten Showdown

Prince George's men's soccer returns home to face Camden County College on Saturday, October 19th. The Owls (9-3-1, 7-3-1 Maryland JUCO) were edged by conference opponent Montgomery County College 1-0 on the road in their previous game. Prince George's will look to turn things around when Camden's Cougars (12-1-0, 10-0-0 GSAC) visit Largo over the weekend.

The matchup features two squads in the top 10 of NJCAA's Division III men's soccer rankings as Camden County has held strong at the number three spot the past two weeks while Prince George's has slipped to the number ten ranking with recent losses. Prince George's has remained the only Division III program in Maryland to be in the rankings since the season started. The Owls will again look to contain a strong offensive attack as the Cougars are averaging over 5 goals per game. On the offensive side of the ball, the Owls have been able to create plenty of scoring opportunities this season, averaging almost 21 shots per contest but have struggled to challenge opposing keepers. The Owls will look to improve upon their shot accuracy against a tough Cougar team in an exciting matchup. Kickoff is set to begin at 12 p.m.
