The CCBC Dundalk Men's Basketball team secured a dominant 99-48 victory over the Community College of Beaver County on Saturday afternoon. With this win, their record improves to 13-10 overall and 8-4 in conference play. It was a standout performance for the Lions, showcasing excellent teamwork and depth, as seven players scored in double figures and every player contributed with at least one basket.

In the first half, the Lions put on a clinic defensively, suffocating the Titans and holding them to just 33% shooting from the field. The team's defensive intensity disrupted the Titans' rhythm, forcing tough shots and limiting their scoring opportunities. On the offensive end, #5 Xavier Barrow was a standout, scoring 11 of his 16 points in the opening half and helping the Lions build momentum. Meanwhile, #11 Christopher Scott brought energy to the game with some spectacular dunks that fired up the crowd and energized his teammates. The Lions' offense flowed smoothly, as they capitalized on their defensive stops and moved the ball effectively. By the time the halftime buzzer sounded, the Lions had established a commanding 23-point lead, positioning themselves well for the second half.

In the second half, the Lions showcased remarkable improvement and growth, maintaining their intensity and never allowing the Titans a chance to gain any momentum in the second half. They kept their foot on the gas, consistently extending their lead by outscoring the Titans by 28 points in the second half alone, cruising to a commanding 51-point victory.

The team was exceptionally efficient on offense, shooting an impressive 57% from the field, a testament to their ability to execute plays and find high-percentage scoring opportunities. On the defensive end, the Lions were relentless, recording 14 team steals, which disrupted the Titans' offensive flow and allowed the Lions to capitalize on fast breaks and transition opportunities. Their defensive pressure played a key role in limiting the Titans' scoring chances and keeping them from mounting any serious threats. Additionally, the Lions displayed superior teamwork and unselfish play, out assisting the Titans 26 to 8. This lopsided assist margin highlighted their ability to share the ball and create open shots.
