Roadrunner Softball Uses Solid Pitching, Hitting to Remain Hot with Sweep of Host Anne Arundel CC

The Roadrunner Softball team remained red hot Sunday afternoon with two key triumphs over Anne Arundel Community College (MD) on the road, extending their win streak to 13.

In the opener, second baseman Anna Cirucci collected four hits and three RBIs while winning pitcher Janiece Robles scattered five hits and struck out five to highlight a 6-0 triumph.

In Game 2, third baseman Caitlin Jackson and center fielder Flynn Blessing drove in two runs each to lift the Runners to a 5-3 victory. Winning pitcher Gemma Galloway allowed two earned runs in seven innings.

Next up for the No. 6 nationally ranked Runners, who improved to 32-10 overall, will be a twinbill vs. Northampton CC at home on April 29th.
