Lady Cards Sweep the Weekend

Saturday, February 1st at Garrett College

McHenry, MD— Lady Cards take care of business with a 79-53 win.

Playing on the road didn't faze the Lady Cardinals.  With four of the five starters scoring in double figures and with Tylea Galloway having a triple-double (her second of the year) the Lady Cards were able to finish business. Heilah Ortiz had herself a double-double, this being her third of the year.

In three of the four quarters the Lady Cards scored at least 20 points. They shot 45.6% from the field (36-79). Ariana Smith-Rodriguez had herself as game scoring 14 coming off the bench, also adding seven rebounds and four assists.

Sunday, February 2^nd at Community College of Beaver County

Monaca, PA— Lady Cards grab another win against the Titans.

Once again, four of the five starters finished the game in double figures. Cache Waters led the team with 18 points. And yet again, Heilah Ortiz is finished with a double-double, her fourth this season. Akirra Pullen also finished the game with a double-double, her fifth on the season.

Mikayla Kemp was the leading scorer off the bench having 11 points including a steal, assist, and four rebounds.

The Lady Cards face Prince George's County on Wednesday, February 5^th at 5 P.M to try to extend their winning streak.
