NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil baseball rebounded from its game one loss against Garrett, sinking the Lakers 8-2 in game two of Monday's twinbill.

Game Highlights

The Seahawks received a strong outing on the mound from Dylan Byler (1-0). The sophomore limited Garrett to just one run on three hits while striking out five. Joel Blanco picked up where Byler left things in the seventh, allowing just one hit before closing out the game.

Cecil's offense performed much better in game two, scoring at least one run in all but the second inning. Lane Weismiller, Davis Jenkins, and Justin Cordero combined for eight hits and four RBI. Cordero got the party started for Cecil in the first after a triple to right scored Patrick O'Brien.

Including O'Brien, four other Seahawks chipped in one RBI each.

Cecil bumps up to 13-18 (5-6 MD JUCO) with the W.
