Lady Cardinals Lose First Game of Harford Women’s Classic

Bel Air, MD- A slow first half was too much for the Cardinals to overcome in an 88-67 loss against Monroe College. Struggles shooting the ball played a major role in the loss where CCBC found themselves trailing 38-23 at the half. A 30 point 3rd quarter was a bright spot on the day, but was not enough to come back from the first half deficit.

Tylea Galloway continues to be a leader on the court for the Cardinals finishing the game with another double-double going for 13 points and 10 rebounds. Arianna Smith-Rodriguez gave a huge contribution to the offense off the bench finishing with a team high 17 points while making four three pointers. The turnover battle was won by Catonsville and they translated this defense into 29 points on the offensive side.

This is now consecutive losses for the team and brings their overall record to 3-4 on the season.
