              The Riverhawks breezed past the NJCAA DI Region XX Skipjacks of Chesapeake College, 3-0, this past Monday night (10/8), playing at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD.

              SET 1: The Riverhawks opened well against the Skipjacks, controlling the action and taking the set comfortably, 25-18.

              SET 2: Now warmed up and seemingly unstoppable in their attacks, the Riverhawks easily take the second set, 25-10.

              SET 3: Consistent to the night's opening sets, the Riverhawks close up the night quickly with the 3-0 match victory, after winning the third set 25-14.

              Brittney Guy (Annapolis, MD/Broadneck) finished with 15 kills, and 3 digs, Sylvia Frye (Severn, MD/Glen Burnie) had 7 kills, 3 digs, and 5 service aces, Kathryn Hawes (Annapolis, MD/Broadneck) finished with 3 kills, 27 assists, 3 service aces, and 3 digs, Serena Hochmuth (Bowie, MD/Eleanor Roosevelt) had 12 digs, and Tara Gabrielsen (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) finished with 3 kills, 4 digs, and 2 service aces.
