The Lions end up finishing the road trip 1-3 with a 75-62 loss against Monroe College.
Malik McCormick finished the game with 17 points. Mohamed Bundu had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
A little over half way through the first half Malik McCormick made a three point shot to put the Lions up 20-18. The Lions then went through a drought being outscored 17-5 to be down 10, 35-25. The first half finished with the Lions down 42-32.
The Lions started out hot in the second half getting the lead down to 6 with a score of 46-40. Later in the half the Lions are down 12 and then back to down 6 at 57-51. Sadly six was the lowest the lead would get for the Lions before losing 75-62 in the last game of 2019.
2020 starts out hot with three straight conference games. The Lions next game will be Saturday, January 4th at Anne Arundel Community College at 3:00pm.
