BRYN MAWR - Despite a strong first half from the Seahawks, the Cecil College men's basketball team fell on the wrong side of an 88-70 scoreline against Division 1 No. 25 Harcum on Tuesday evening.
Cecil went toe-to-toe with the nationally ranked Bears and trailed by just a point after the opening 20 minutes. Harcum faired better in the second half to put the Seahawks away.
Jaiden Guy and Jermaine Goodwyn headlined Cecil's offensive effort with 15 points each.
The Seahawks dip to 6-2 after the loss.
Turning Point
Harcum's size played a large factor in the contest, as the Bears outrebounded Cecil 44-33. The Seahawks had five shots blocked while returning none of Harcum's attempts.
