WOLFPACK RECORD EVEN AT 1-1 FOLLOWING LOSS TO POTOMAC

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - The Westmoreland County Community College men's soccer team saw their record evened at 1-1 after visiting Potomac State scored an 8-1 victory Tuesday afternoon.

The visitors scored five goals in the opening half to take command of the match and added the rest of the tallies after the intermission. The Wolfpack played hard to the end and lit the scoreboard late in the match, when sophomore Michael Stanley broke free down the left side and scored his first goal of the season. It was his second point on the year, as he assisted on a goal in Westmoreland season-opening OT win over Allegany.

In net, Luke Brummett turned aside 12 shots, including seven in the second half.

The Wolfpack are on the field again Monday when they host Penn State-Greater Allegheny at 4 pm.
