ARNOLD, MD. – The Anne Arundel Community College men's soccer team fell to No. 3 CCBC Essex, 6-1, Thursday, in NJCAA Region 20 action at Siegert Field. Brian Guillen scored the lone goal for the Riverhawks.

Eli Belcher picked up the assist on Guillen's early goal as he quickly restarted play after a foul as AACC (2-1-1) just outside the box. Belcher tapped the ball ahead to Guillen as Essex was resetting, resulting in an easy finish and a 1-0 lead in the 11^th minute.

CCBC Essex (4-0) held a 3-1 lead by halftime and added three more goals in the second half. The Knights outshot the Riverhaws at a 23-3 clip.

AACC keeper Jayeim Blake made seven saves in the loss.

Up next, the Riverhawks travel to Potomac State Tuesday for a 6 p.m. NJCAA Region 20 game.
