WOLFPACK NOTCH A PAIR OF GOALS IN LOSS AT PSU-BEAVER

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - The Westmoreland County Community College men's soccer team scored the match's opening goal, but Penn State-Beaver rallied to take a 10-2 win over the Wolfpack Thursday afternoon.

The opening score of the match came in the seventh minute when Evan Curley scored his second goal of the year off an assist from Matt Tomko. However, the lead lasted just under three minutes before Beaver scored the tying goal and they would go on to total seven in the first half.

The Lions also scored the opening goal in the second half, but Westmoreland notched one more before the end of the match when Matt Henderson scored an unassisted goal in the 65th minute. It was the second goal of the season for Henderson as well.

In net for the Wolfpack, Luke Brummett stopped 14 shots in the match.

Westmoreland will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Anne Arundel for a Region XX match starting at 3 pm.
