Women's Basketball Concludes Season with Loss in Region 20 Tournament

The College of Southern Maryland Hawks women's basketball team's 2022-23 season ended on March 7 when they lost to the Montgomery College Raptors 87-40 in the quarterfinal round of the NJCAA Region 20 Division II women's basketball tournament.

Lillian Reynolds was active and played well for the Hawks, registering a season-high eight blocks to go along with five rebounds, an assist, and one steal. Taylor Dean was the leading scorer for the Hawks with 12 points on 6-12 shooting from the field while adding three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Janaya Sims had nine points and three steals. Angeleen Mulero recorded eight points, six rebounds, and three steals.
