Collier struck twice within the first three minutes of the second quarter to extend AACC's lead to 7-0.

The Saints (0-2) got one back midway through the second, but Weisshaar, Collier and Burns closed out the half with tallies to make it 10-1 Riverhawks at halftime.

AACC scored five-straight to open the third, including Kotelchuck's score with the man advantage. Mercyhurst North East's faceoff specialist Xander Reagan scored off the draw to make it 15-2, but Weisshaar and Zercoe answered right back. The two teams traded goals to close out the quarter with AACC leading, 18-3.

Reagan scored the first two goals of the fourth, including a man-up strike, before Zercoe and Weisshaar closed out the game with goals.

It was a battle at the x, with Granados finishing 10-24, and Reagan going 12-21. AACC outshot its visitors, 43-30, and led the groundball battle, 43-33. The Riverhawks caused 19 of the Saints' 32 turnovers. Both teams went 2-for-6 on the man up.
