Carroll competed in the MD JUCO Championship at Swan Point Yacht and Country Club on April 20th, finishing in 3rd place.

Despite shooting 362 in their final contest of the year, it was a successful season which saw the Lynx put up some competitive scores.

"It was definitely a tough day for everyone" said Head Coach Kevin Piecewicz. "However, we know that's just part of the learning process.  For us to get better we have to deal with the bumps in the road, make adjustments and move forward.  Despite the finish, everyone did their best and knows that the experience alone will help us next season."

Nathan Leppo led the way for the Lynx, shooting an 86 while Evan Appleby shot just one more stroke with an 87. The scores from Leppo and Appleby were good enough to clinch MD JUCO All-Conference selections with Leppo earning a first team selection and Appleby earning second team. The other two competitors, Luke Piecewicz and Zach Taylor, shot a 92 and 97 respectively.

Congratulations to the inaugural golf team, you have made everyone at Carroll very proud!
