Catonsville, MD- It was a back and forth battle all night, but the Cardinals would get the best of Allegany College defeating them 81-73 Wednesday night. CCBC looked dominant at times, turning defense into transition offense and at one point building a 12 point lead in the first half. Allegany did not back down though, and brought the game to a tie on multiple occasions, but the Cardinals would not let that last and continued to jump on top.
The victory was an all-around team effort, but Andre McFadden led the way in this one. The freshman who has played himself into a starting role finished the game with 24 points and made four clutch three pointers down the stretch. John McNeal continues to be a force on both sides of the ball tallying 17 points and 8 rebounds in the matchup.
The Cardinals shot the ball well in this contest and capitalized on 18 Trojan turnovers to lead them to victory. This is now consecutive victories for the team and brings their record to 3-1 on the year.
