Potomac State Splits With Harford

Potomac state Traveled to Bel Air, MD for a doubleheader against the Harford Owls Tuesday afternoon. The Catamounts split the day with Owls and are now 21-8 on the season. 

Potomac state got off to a hot start, pounding out 11 hits to take game 1, 10-1.

The Catamounts scored 6 runs in the top of the first inning to start off the game and didn't stop from there. Chloe Greise was in the circle for Potomac State and only allowed 3 hits and 1 run in the 5 inning game. Everyone was hitting the ball for the Catamounts. Taylor Lamp, Alexa Shoemaker, Jamie Kelly, Heather Williams, Meghan Harris, and Katelyn Nazelrod all doubled in the game. Kelly, Braylee Corbin, and Nazelrod each had an RBI. Emily Horn had 2 RBIs and Harris had 3. 

 

 

The Owls would take game 2, 5-3. 

Charity Wolfe pitched 6 innings, allowing 9 hits and 5 runs. At the plate, Potomac State only only had 3 runs on 7 hits. Kameron Beck went 1-2 with a double and an RBI. Courtney Adams and Kelly each also had an RBI. 

 

Potomac State will be return home Friday, April 19 for a doubleheader against Monroe College and then another doubleheader with the Mustangs on Saturday. First pitch for Friday is slated for 2:00.
