Hagerstown Women's Soccer continues dominance in non-conference play

The Hagerstown Women's Soccer team continued their dominance against non-conference opponents this past Saturday, beating Middlesex College by a score of 8-2. The Lady Hawks established their presence early, scoring their first goal within the first 5 minutes of play. True Benshoff tallied 5 more goals to improve to a stellar 20 on the season and leads both the MDJUCO and NJCAA in goals scored. Freshman wingers, Kendall Eckardt (1) and Amelia Beck-Schmeider (2) each scored goals for the Hawks, while Freshman goalkeeper, Michaela Shindle, had another respectful day between the posts, saving 6 shots and limiting the Colts attack.

The next challenge for the Lady Hawks is a tough conference matchup tomorrow at home against the Raptors of Montgomery College starting at 4pm following the MSOC game. Please consider coming out to the field to show your Hagerstown Hawks some support!
