Men's Basketball Battle Back

Saturday afternoon the men's basketball team hosted an NJCAA Division II opponent in WVU Potomac State.  The Wolfpack fell down by 17 points early, before battling back to cut the lead to 5 in the second half, before falling to the Catamounts 91-78.

Leading the way for the Wolfpack was Sophomore Jakir Hampton with 32 points.  Hampton hit 8 of his 12 three point attempts to go along with his 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  Jakir is leading the team averaging 27.2 points a game so far this season.  In his first game of the season Tahiyr Vines added 20 points and 6 rebounds, and Joel Lonigro also added in 10 points for the Wolfpack.

The Wolfpack will start their WPCC Conference schedule on Tuesday night at The Community College of Beaver County at 7:30.
