Cardinals Drop Back-to-Back in Mercer County Mixer

West Windsor Township, NJ- Men's basketball drops to 3-7 on the year as they lose twice this past weekend.

Despite beginning the season 3-1, the Cardinals have not been able to pull out a win since the November 20th game against Allegany. They have lost six straight- including this weekend's contests to Mercer and Westchester.

MERCER 64, CCBC CATONSVILLE 61

Despite double-digit games by Micko Reeves and Joacquin Gonzalez, the Cardinals would drop a heartbreaker to Mercer county. With 19 total turnovers, the Cardinals can reflect upon how those can negatively impact the game. Tamaron Hargett would make three field goals for a total of nine points along with five rebounds. John McNeal would only put up four points, however, he did his part with 13 total rebounds and two steals. With a lackluster 41.4 field goal percentage, the Cardinals are looking to improve as their season advances.

WESTCHESTER 101, CCBC CATONSVILLE 57

Although the Cardinals made Saturday's game a close one, Sunday's contest was less than thrilling. Being defeated by 44 points, the Cardinals would find themselves in the hole with only a .300 winning percentage.

McNeal and Reeves would serve some of the only highlights for Catonsville, with McNeal scoring 14 with nine rebounds, and Reeves scoring 11.

The Cardinals are looking to turn around their season with a home contest against Richard Bland on Tuesday, December 10th at 6PM.
