Harford Women's Soccer Best of Region DI, Battle Monroe Community College in District Final

Rockville, MD. On Saturday, November 5, Harford met the 6th ranked Tribunes of Monroe Community College, NY in the East District Championship hosted by Montgomery College. Harford advanced to the District Championship match after defeating Montgomery College 8-0 in the Region 20 final on November 2. Leading Harford in the Region final was Skye Dixon (1G, 3A) and Sarah Barnes (2G, 1A). Jamie Moyer (1G), Ciara Bartz (1A), Lauren Westbrook (1G), Peyton Long (1G), Rachel Anderson (1A) Danielle Marino (1G), Jacqueline Garst (1G) and Remi Rollings (1A) also contributed for the Fighting Owls. 

In the District Final, Harford fell behind 3 goals to nil before netting their first goal in the 53rd minute. Lauren Westbrook found the net on an unassisted goal to cut the Tribunes lead to 3-1. Monroe would add two more goals before Jamie Moyer's blistering free kick netted Harford's final goal in the final minute of play. Division I Women's Soccer does provide the opportunity for at-large bids with Harford putting forward a quality 2022 campaign at 13-5.
